Recently Wilson Haynes sponsored a workshop at the Currumbin RSL titled, “Surviving your own ambition in business.”

It was a joint initiative of our firm and the Advisory Board Centre, with whom our principal, Jim Wilson, is accredited as a Certified Chair of business Advisory Boards.

Here Jim is with presenter, Jan Easton, the COO of the Advisory Board Centre and Wayne (Rabbit) Bartholomew AM, who was guest speaker. Rabbit focused on the role of Advisory Boards in getting started the ASP World Tour of which he was inaugural President and then CEO for 5 years and the role of the community advisory board for the Tweed River Entrance Sand Bypass Project. Rabbit’s speech was on point about how advisory boards work around the World in the many different cultures that make up the now world surfing sport business.
